SEBrite bleach
(An enzyme for the improved bleaching of Paper Pulps)
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION:
SEBrite bleach is a unique blend of different enzymes. It improves bleaching of paper pulps and reduces the dosage of harmful bleaching chemicals in subsequent bleaching stages. SEBrite bleach works by partially cutting the xylan precipitated on cellulose fibres during the pulping process. The enzyme treatment makes the pulp more porous and permeable to bleaching chemicals and promotes the removal of lignin in subsequent bleaching stages. SEBrite bleach has specific advantages of in that it is active at the slightly alkaline pH and elevated temperature typical of kraft pulps.
