Product Benefits:
  • It reduces chlorine dioxide, chlorine, peroxide and hypochlorite consumption resulting in lower cost and lower waste water demands including lower BOD and COD.
  • It increases the bleachability of virgin pulp which allows higher levels of brightness to be achieved.
  • It acts on Lignin Carbohydrate Complexes (LCCs), causes the partial de-polymerisation of xylan and breaks the ß 1, 4 linkages between xylan and lignin.
  • The reversion of brightness i.e. Post Color Number is reduced due to reduced dosage of chlorinated bleaching chemicals.
  • It makes the lignin more accessible to bleaching chemicals in subsequent bleaching stages.
  • It has a specific effect on a pulp such that it loosens the pulp structure, thereby enhancing lignin extraction, reducing chemical consumption and attaining higher brightness in virgin pulp bleaching process.
  • It increases the yield across the pulping and bleaching processes by allowing a less vigorous pulping while maintaining brightness targets.

Enzymatic Pre-Bleaching Process:

*Every mill has unique conditions of the fiber furnish process conditions and Bleach sequence. Application protocols for SEBrite Bleach will be optimized to best suit your specific process. Our expert Technical team can assist you in optimization.

Effect of Tempreture:
1. SEBrite Bleach will function over a wide temperature range of 30 C to 900C.
2. SEBrite Bleach is heat stable enzyme and higher operating temperatures results in higher enzyme activities thus
providing lower enzyme dosage for the application.
3. Due to high temperature stability of SEBrite Bleach, hot washing of pulp before and after enzyme treatment is more favorable.

Effect of PH:
1. SEBrite Bleach will function over a wide pH range of 6.5 to 9.5.
2. SEBrite Bleach will function optimally in the range of 8.0 to 9.0.

Dosage:
SEBrite Bleach is recommended in the range of 200 to 500 gm / Ton of dry pulp. It is recommended to add SEBrite Bleach after screening stage as before screening due to presence of sieves, more dosage will be required.

Enzyme Inactivation:
1. SEBrite Bleach can be inactivated by raising the pH above 11.0 or temperature above 1100C or by combination of both.
2. Oxidizers like hydrogen peroxide and hypochlorite can also be used to inactivate SEBrite Bleach.
3. The enzyme ultimately gets inactivated in the dryers at the paper machine or pulp dryer with no detectable residual
enzyme activity in the final manufactures paper.

Storage:
SEBrite Bleach retains more than 90% of activity after six months when stored at 250C out of direct sunlight and in original closed container.

Packaging:
Standard packaging of SEBrite Bleach is 30 kg HDPE drums.

Safety & Handling :
SEBrite Bleach can be irrate to some individuals so avoid contact with skin and eyes. Take necessary precautions to avoid breathing aerosols.
